The Plume Network, the first Layer 1 blockchain built exclusively for Real-World Asset Finance (RWAfi), is gearing up for its mainnet launch with a series of impactful initiatives.
Among these, Plume has integrated Ondo Finance, a leading RWA project, into its ecosystem. This partnership allows Plume to connect with Ondo’s tokenized U.S. debt product, USDY, marking a significant collaboration between two major players in the RWAfi space.
To foster innovation in the RWA sector, Plume has joined forces with Mechanism, Galaxy, and other prominent venture capital firms to establish a $25 million RWAfi Ecosystem Fund. This fund is aimed at supporting early-stage RWA projects, helping to accelerate their growth and integration into the Plume ecosystem. With over 180 RWA protocols already onboard, the additional financial backing is expected to attract even more projects, solidifying Plume’s position as the go-to platform for RWAfi.
Plume’s staking protocol, Nest, has already drawn significant interest, amassing $28.6 million in funding deposits through a pre-deposit campaign. Combined with the $36 million raised through a previous pre-deposit campaign on StakeStone, Plume’s total value locked (TVL) has reached an impressive $64 million ahead of the mainnet launch.
Plume’s recent initiatives are focused on creating a robust ecosystem that attracts RWA projects, users, and funds. By fostering collaborations and financial support, Plume aims to establish itself as a central hub for RWAfi, ensuring a strong foundation for long-term growth and adoption in the blockchain space.
