Bitcoiner Assaulted on Shia LaBeouf’s Livestream

Shia LaBeouf is an Americn Actor who decided to host a livestream protesting Trump’s presidency. However, there have been quite a few incidences of violence. In fact, Shia LeBeouf was arrested a few days ago after punching an individual who provoked him by saying “Hitler is the greatest.”

There have been a few incidences of protesters provoking Shia by shouting similar Nazi slogans. The livestream is hosted right outside the Museum of the Moving Image in New York, and is supposed to be live for 4 years all while Trump is president.

A few hours ago, a video surfaced that showcases the true nature of the livestream. It is not peaceful by any means, and anybody who has something to say other than chanting “He will not divide us” will promptly get assaulted and pushed out of the way.

In this case, a Bitcoiners decided to hold up a sign while saying “Bitcoin Will Unite Us”. He gets promptly pushed out of the way and assaulted multiple times by one of the undercover guards. The funny thing is, the livestream is at a public place so there should be no reason that he couldn’t have his moment. After all, he wasn’t shouting Nazi slogans, wasn’t behaving in an aggressive manner, but was simply informing people that Bitcoin has no borders. Take a look for yourself:

According to a press release from Whalepool.io:

The member, @geofflosophy was not only escorted out of the protest livestream area; but told he could not stand on the public sidewalk adjacent to the museum. His freedom of speech and right to assembly were infringed upon as he chose to express the Whalepool community’s positive social action slogan that states, Bitcoin Will Unite Us.

Furthermore, we can see right after the initial assault the crowd started chanting with the Bitcoiner, showing him support. This is just one example of how these livestreams and protests aren’t as peaceful as they seem. Some might say that promoting Bitcoin at a political protest might be taking away from their message, however, Bitcoin is just as relevant here.

Trump wants to place a 35% tax on remittance tax on money moving in and out of mexico. If the majority of the population used Bitcoin, such a tax would be impossible to implement. Bitcoin knows no borders, due to its decentralized nature no single entity can place any sort of taxes on the currency.
