Like other countries, Bitcoin is also rapidly progressing in Vietnam. In fact, according to recent reports, the Bitcoin Vietnam Co. exchange alongside with Coinify ApS, which is the market leader in blockchain currency merchant processing have announced a strategic partnership, meant to increase the popularity of the bitcoin market in Vietnam.
The partnership will not only provide both companies with more valuable insight into the digital currency market, but it’ll also increase the variety of services being offered in the region. In the initial part of the partnership, merchants from Vietnam will be able to receive payments both in bitcoin, but also in 16 other digital currencies supported by the platform. These payments can then be converted to the Vietnamese Dong, thus giving merchants the possibility to offer their clients more payment options.
Additionally, the two platforms will link together, and offer integration with the shops of merchants who are interested in accepting and offering bitcoin payments. Both online and point-of-sale options will be available to further encourage the use of digital currencies.
According to Coinify, it seems like a couple of more merchant payment processing tools will be offered in the next couple of months, to provide the Vietnamese market with more blockchain merchant solutions.
Based on everything that has been outlined so far, what do you personally think about these partnerships? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
