Bitcoin ATM Manufacturer Bitaccess Launches Bitcoin Voucher System in Canada

Canadian Bitcoin ATM manufacturer Bitaccess, has announced the launch of their Flexepin voucher system, which allows Canadians to purchase bitcoin at 6,000 retail locations across the country.

Flexepin vouchers can be purchased with debit cards and cash. Per the press release, the vouchers come in $10, $50, $100 and $250 denominations. The Flexepin vouchers can be redeemed at the portal page provided by Bitaccess.

“After you buy a Flexepin voucher from the cashier, we’ll redeem your Flexepin into bitcoin for you.”

Bitaccess has been very busy increasing access to digital currency services in Canada. According to a recent blog post, the company has been building up its infrastructure of digital currency ATMs over the past two years, but found the process to be quite cumbersome.

“We can’t get BTMs out worldwide quickly or efficiently enough to take this to the next level.”

The voucher system holds great promise for the future of digital currencies in Canada and Bitaccess isn’t the only company to jump on this bandwagon. Toronto’s bitcoin hub Decentral, also launched its own bitcoin voucher system in February of this year, however, their vouchers are limited to $100 and are only available within the province of Ontario.
